Yesterday, the appearance of Alan Moore at his local library, St James in Northampton, for a reading of his Christmas short story from Dodgem Logic #7, packed the place out.

It was part of a large number of nationwide protest against the threatened closure of libraries as part of a series of nationswide spending cuts.
