More Hawkeye Changes For #17, #18 and #19

HAWKEYE20120TV2_COVOkay, so we all know (now) that Hawkeye #16 came out before Hawkeye #15. It happens. Very occasionally. But Marvel aren't finished messing with the scheduling of their most awarded comic book right now. And who is doing what issue.

These are the original solicitations for issues 17 through to 19.

HAWKEYE #17
MATT FRACTION (W) • DAVID AJA (A/C)
"Rio Bravo" – PART 4
• The sense-shattering fallout of the Clint vs. the Clown — Clint Barton has been deafened!
• With the Barton Brothers this battered and bloodied, surely they'll make easy pickins for the Bros, right? Bro? Seriously?
• If we do our jobs right THIS time, this issue will be the Dog Issue of Sign Language issues.
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$2.99

HAWKEYE #18
MATT FRACTION (W) • CHRIS ELIOPOLOUS (A)
Cover by DAVID AJA
• Who could forget that time when Clint Barton let his neighbor's kids watched a holiday cartoon at his place?
• At long last THIS ISSUE is pretty much the cartoon they all watch. YOU'RE WELCOME.
• A very special holiday HAWKGUY that at long last lets legendary letterer CHRIS ELIOPOLOUS flex his astounding cartooning muscles in our pages. Matt and Matt do their regular jobs though. Maybe David will letter it? Probably not.
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$2.99

HAWKEYE #19
Matt Fraction (W) • Annie Wu (A)
Cover by David Aja
• Kate gets to the bottom of the greatest mystery in the entire Marvel Universe right this very hot second: just who the H is that guy in the trench coat that seems to live in her cat food aisle? The answer may surprise you.
• Or maybe not, maybe you're super- good at this kind of thing.
• Anyway a simple investigation dovetails into Kate's desperate race to stay one step ahead of the woman that's sworn to kill her: Madame Masque and what started off as a zany summer vacation gets a little bloody. Buckle up, buttercups.
32 PGS./Rated T+ …2.99

Well now it's all getting mixed up and, presumably, the contents following the creator. And I quote,

  • HAWKEYE #17 will now feature interior art by Chris Eliopoulos. This title was originally solicited with art by David Aja.
  • HAWKEYE #18 will now feature interior art by Annie Wu. This title was originally solicited with art by Chris Eliopoulos.
  • HAWKEYE #19 will now feature interior art by David Aja. This title was originally solicited with art by Annie Wu.

So… will Rio Bravo Part Four now take place two issues later? With a Kate Bishop and a cartoon special taking its spot?
