Taiwan Store Serves Comics And Ice Cream Together. Disaster Looms.

Comics and ice cream are not your natural bedfellows. Generally because ice cream ends up on your comic. But one Taiwanese store is throwing caution to the wind by serving both.

Open in Taipei on Friday, close to the Ximen MRT station, it is a joint operation by Line Webtoon, a global digital comic book service platform, and US chain Cold Stone Creamery. The store will also host a number of events with well known comic book creators. no news if it will also invite well known ice cream manufacturers too.

Though it's not the first. Big Larry's Comic Book Cafe in Leonardtown, MD, USA does a roaring trade in both, even if some of its Yelp reviews leave a little to be desired.
