Penguin's Right-Hand Man Changing Sides

We met Butch Gilzean in the very first episode of Gotham. Played by Drew Powell, the fiercely loyal thug has gone through almost as much turmoil as the main characters of the series. He started off as the right-hand man of Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), was mentally reconditioned to follow the orders of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) and at the end of last season had to choose between the two on the roof top… where he decided to shoot them both.

Now the Penguin is using him to infiltrate the organization of his new enemy Theo Galavan (James Frain) and has gone to extreme length to make Butch's story believable. At some point Butch really should have just left Gotham.

Gotham airs Mondays at 8 PM on FOX.
