It's Getting Harder And Harder To Avoid Dark Knight III Spoilers (UPDATE)

big-spoilerFirst CBR ran DC PR-approved spoilers about the final page of Dark Knight III #1. Bleeding Cool did our own interpretation of it.

Then the Howard Stern website runs pages from the second issue that might reveal how the situation have occurred.

And then today, when CBR previews two of the three pages that Howard Stern ran the day before, with the phrase…

The unexpected finale to the Dark Knight saga continues as Carrie Kelly gets caught…that is, she finds herself…she gets into—well, you're just going to have to read it yourself.

The e-mail it send out to accompany the preview states, without any spoiler warning,

A new preview for Frank Miller, Brian Azzarello, Andy Kubert & Klaus Janson's second issue offers a glimpse of how Carrie finds herself in the Batsuit.

It's just getting harder and harder…

Though amusingly, CBR seem blindly unaware when asking these kind of questions…

Okay, okay. Next question. The subtitle for "DKIII" is "The Master Race," which obviously conjures up notions of Nazi ideology. What can you share about the "Master Race" as it pertains to this story?

Azzarello: It's meant to provoke, and it looks like it's working.

Kubert: Again, you will definitely see how the title fits into the story when you read the series.

The offspring of Wonder Woman and Superman would certainly qualify as a master race, and we see both of them in this first issue. "The Dark Knight Returns" and "DK2" both heavily featured Batman's super friends. Green Arrow, specifically, has played a major role in these series. Can you give us a tease of which other Justice League members, beyond Wonder Woman and Superman, will be featured in "DKIII"?

Azzarello: It won't be Martian Manhunter. He is dead.

That from Frank Miller, it was asked and answered last month.

Maybe CBR just doesn't want to read spoilers on Bleeding Cool….

UPDATE: DC media partner New York Daily News has also taken down a review of Dark Knight III #1 until 2pm ET until they accidentally broke embargo…
