This week we continue our a retrospective on films that showed us the horror inherent in replacing love with technology, with the 1987 film The Stepford Children. Theatrically released overseas, this 1987 TV movie followup to the 1975 original asks: would parents replace their children with robots just to get rid of skinny New Wave belts and Motley Crue-style teased hair? So. Much. 80s.
