Johnny Depp Makes Donald Trump Assassination Joke At Glastonbury Festival

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales may have made less than $70 million at the box office on its opening weekend, but it's not the biggest bomb actor Johnny Depp has dropped this year by far. While introducing his 2004 film The Libertine at the Cinemageddon Stage at Glastonbury today, Depp joked about assassinating President Donald Trump.

"Can we bring Trump here?" Depp asked, to the cheers of the crowd. When someone suggested that the crowd could give the president "help and rehabilitation," Depp answered, "He needs help."

But things took a dark turn when Depp followed up with a reference to John Wilkes Booth, asking, "When was the last time an actor assassinated a president."

You can watch the clip below, and then head to the comments to belligerently shout your political views at others.
