Titan Comics has announced a new series of standalone Tank Girl stories to commemorate the character's 30th anniversary.

First hinted at during the publisher's San Diego Comic-Con presentation, we now know that The Wonderful World of Tank Girl will consist of four standalone one-shots, with the first being Tank Girl Strikes Again by Alan Martin and Brett Parson. The book is due out in October, and we have some information and covers:

  • The Wonderful World of Tank Girl #1 Cover A: Brett Parson – AUG171988
  • The Wonderful World of Tank Girl #1 Cover B: Chris Wahl – AUG171989
  • The Wonderful World of Tank Girl #1 Cover C: Bookshelf edition by Alan Martin – AUG171990
  • The Wonderful World of Tank Girl #1 Cover D: Brett Parson Artist Edition – AUG171991

However, it's unknown at this time whether the remaining three one-shots will come from different creative teams and, if so, who will be involved. But hey, if we wanted to have all the facts before we reported something, we would never have gotten into comics journalism in the first place!
