Rian Johnson Considers Early Last Jedi Release Ahead Of Nuclear Trumpcalypse Of Fire And Fury

If you were going to die, and you had one wish, would it be to see the next Star Wars movie before the end arrives?

Rian Johnson Considers Early Last Jedi Release Ahead Of Nuclear Trumpcalypse Of Fire And Fury

That might be a problem, unfortunately, as nuclear war with North Korea looms due to President Donald Trump's unique style of diplomacy. We could all die tomorrow. The missiles could be launching right now. By this time next week, the world could be a smoldering pile of ash, and we're still months — months!! — away from the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

With that concern in mind, some conscientious persons on Twitter have begun asking The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson to release the movie early so that we can watch it before we all perish in a nuclear holocaust of "fire and fury."

It's a reasonable request. And Johnson, a reasonable man, is considering it.

It's a risky move…

But ultimately, it's the right thing to do.

We'll be keeping an eye on Johnson's Vimeo channel, and we'll let you know if the movie has been released, signaling our imminent doom.
