Bruce Wayne's Car in Justice League Was a One-of-a-Kind Mercedes-Benz

The Justice League film had something unique, more than the normal costumes and weapons: a custom-built Mercedes-Benz. In a deal with the car company to include two of their vehicles in the film, one being the E-Class convertible driven by Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), the other was a one-of-a-kind Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo created specifically for the film by the car company. Bruce Wayne's (Ben Affleck) gull-winged car he picked up Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) in wouldn't even be considered street legal because of the tires used.

As part of the deal, Mercedes made the car and DC made a series of comics featuring both vehicles that were then released to fan through Instagram. The video below talks about the creation of the BGT, the deal between the two companies, and using the social media platform to release the comics.

The Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo was initially created for the video game Gran Turismo 6, its unique design drew inspiration from various sources including the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Formula One cars, the Batmobile, the classic Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, 1930s racing cars, and other Mercedes-AMG models. Despite not being officially launched as a series by Daimler AG, J&S Worldwide Holdings in the U.S. expressed intentions to produce a limited run of five such cars. The car was first unveiled at the 2013 LA Auto Show. It features a lightweight frame made of aluminum and a carbon fiber body, and it's equipped with a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter M157 AMG V8 engine, producing 580 horsepower. The car's weight is around 1,385 kg.
