Will We Get an Aquaman #300 for May 2018?

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Flash have had "milestone" variant covers and reflective content of late, as, adding up the volumes, they reached anniversary issues. Superman and Batman with #800 covers, Flash and Wonder Woman with #700 covers, and all drawn by Tony S. Daniel.

But what about their fellow Justice Leaguer Aquaman? Our friend Andrew numbercrunched the volumes for us and came up with…

  • Volume 1 (1962-1978) = 63
  • Volume 2 (1991-1992) = 13
  • Volume 3 (1994-2001) = 75
  • Volume 4 (2003-2007) = 57 (It spent issues #40 to 57 as Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis)
  • Volume 5 (2011-2016) = 52
  • Volume 6 (2016-Present) = 32

Total = 292

That's eight issues away from #300. Which would be in May. Enough time for DC Comics to whip up something special? Or does our numbercruncher get points knocked off for Sword of Atlantis?

Let's find out in May…
