Titan to Publish The Road to the Thirteenth Doctor Who Comic

Titan Comics PR have given some news to Entertainment Weekly about new Doctor Who comics coming this year, with the overarching title, The Road To The Thirteenth Doctor, featuring the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors. And it will all culminate in their Doctor Who Day on November 2th, shortly after the show's birthday. And with the new comic starring Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor.

The new comics will begin in July.

The Road to the Thirteenth Doctor will chronicle new adventures starring the Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctors (who were played on TV by David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi), written by James Peaty (Supergirl) and featuring covers by Robert Hack (Sabrina, Archie). In the course of the series, the Tenth Doctor encounters lost, ghostly spaceships, the Eleventh Doctor and Alice visit a robot-infested 19th-century San Francisco, and the Twelfth Doctor finds London's Piccadilly Circus transformed into a wasteland of emptiness and pterodactyls.

And each issue will also contain a short story from the creative team behind the new Thirteenth Doctor comic series, Jody Houser, Rachael Stott and Enrica Angiolini.

UPDATE: From the Diamond Retailer Summit, we will also get The Many Lives Of Doctor Who.
