Report: WWE's Bobby Lashley Will Be Gone Til' November

Every time he makes a slam, opponents turn around and cry. Vince asks himself why, oh why? But see, Vince must understand, he can't work at stars of 5. So he'll be gone 'til November. Said he'll be gone 'til November. He'll be gone 'til November. Yo, tell Vince McMahon that he'll be gone 'til November. He'll be gone 'til November. He'll be gone 'til November. Tell Vince McMahon, yo, he'll be gone 'til November. January, February, March, April, May, he sees you crying, but Vince, he can't stay. He'll be gone 'til November. He'll be gone 'til November. And give a kiss to Brock Lesnar.

WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley is reportedly on the injured list and won't return to WWE Raw until November, according to a report from Fightful.com which claims to have seen WWE's injury list showing Lashley's expected return as November 2nd. The report is not officially confirmed, but Lashley has been off TV since mid-July.

The former WWECW, United States, Intercontinental, Impact, X-Division, and King of the Mountain Champion is probably best known for his stint as the personal champion of WWE Hall-of-Famer and WWE Champion Donald Trump, going up against Vince McMahon's champion Umaga in the Battle of the Billionaires. Lashley has also dabbled in MMA, and is a collegiate wrestling champion. Lashley has gone on the record defending the President, saying back in February of 2017, shortly after Trump took office:

I think it's kinda funny that everybody is flipping the script now because at that time and the other times I've seen him do things on TV, he was the biggest celebrity or the biggest personality we had and everybody loved him. But I guess as President, maybe he's a little bit too brash for them. Not me though. I don't mind him.

Lashley also predicted that Trump would fix everything over his four-year term, enabling the country to elect a more likeable wrestler like The Rock, saying:

Everybody gives Trump an extremely bad rap. He's a businessman, so he is not trying to rub your back and tell you everything is going to be OK. He is going to set standards and, when everything is in chaos, you need someone who is willing to do what needs to be done. He's going to take abuse for the next four years, but when everything gets fixed, then we can elect someone like The Rock, who will make everyone feel good. There is a time for strict and there is a time for leniency, and I don't think he is a bad person for the job.

Maybe Lashley can use his time off the road to become a pundit for a cable news network. A match between Lashley and WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has long been anticipated by fans, so maybe once Lashley returns in November, he can finally get that program started.
