An SDCC Exclusive: The Book Of Vishanti From Marvel Legends (Photogallery)

By Brian Goldberg

Hasbro has outdone themselves with their 2015 SDCC Marvel Legends offering. The Book of Vishanti set contains 5 figures with their respective accessories and the Eye of Agamotto replica prop. Translucent Doctor Strange, Hela, Dormmamu, Brother Voodoo, and fan favorite Magik are resting inside Doctor Strange's book of spells.

The figures are highly detailed, ornate, and VERY impressive. Hasbro has managed to step up their game this year with their first assortment of magic based figures.

The packaging, almost a replica prop itself, even plays a part with the exclusive set.   The leatherette exterior opens into a 5 pages of artwork which covers red velveteen inlay housing the figures. The 16" x 14" x 3" box has a special feature I personally haven't come across before. It is designed to easily allow the figures to be removed from the box and placed back in with ease. This is a bonus for mint on card and loose action figures alike.

The set will be available at the Hasbro booth at SDCC and hasbrotoyshop.com following the convention.
