With filming currently underway in London, Netflix has released the line-up of actors joining Ricky Gervais for his new series After Life. Created, executive produced, directed by and starring Gervais, the six, half-hour episode season is also executive produced by long-time collaborator Charlie Hanson (Derek, Extras); and includes several familiar faces from Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and a number of other series/films.

Joining Gervais this season are Penelope Wilton (Downton Abbey, Doctor Who), David Bradley (Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, The Strain), Ashley Jensen (Extras), Tom Basden (Plebs), Tony Way (Edge of Tomorrow), David Earl (Cemetery Junction), Joe Wilkinson (Him and Her), Kerry Godliman (Derek), Mandeep Dhillon (Bulletproof), Jo Hartley (Eddie the Eagle), Roisin Conaty (Man Down), and Diane Morgan (David Brent: Life On The Road).

Gervais's next turn at series work follows Tony, who had a perfect life; but after his wife Lisa suddenly dies, Tony changes. After contemplating taking his own life, he decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He thinks it's like a super power — not caring about himself or anyone else — but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.
