Marvel, Please Let Howard Chaykin Draw Magneto #1

Marvel, Please Let Howard Chaykin Draw Magneto #1The solicitation says it all.

MAGNETO #1
Written by HOWARD CHAYKIN
Penciled by TBD
Cover by ROGER CRUZ
Before the Brotherhood, before his greatest battles with the X-Men, there was a man named Erik Magnus, gathering mutants to join his cause. Does the young Magneto have what it takes to build an army? And what does all of this have to do with The Absorbing Man?
32 PGS./One-Shot/Rated A …$2.99

TBD isn't some cool studio working out of California (although maybe it should be!) but "To Be Decided". Basically, Marvel have solicited the book without having a clue who is drawing it. Usually they cover this kind of thing with an air of mystery, saying the solicitations are "classified" so at least they are being honest here. But come on Marvel, the answer is staring you in the face. Howard Chaykin is a masterful comics artist and he's right there in the solicitations.

How about it Marvel? Give Howard the gig?

The other book without a named artist is Mike Carey's new book Age Of X: Alpha. Hell, Howard could probably draw that too!
