Pounding Pavements Promoting Parnassus

Today I spent the day walking around central London with a large sandwich board strapped to my chest persuading people that they really wanted to see the new Terry Gilliam movie, opening in the UK on Friday, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. Joined by Tony Lee, Dan Boultwood and a smattering of like minded souls, we took to the streets with our signs. Here's a shot Tony took.

wwzlI know, I know, the posters not great. It's all a bit Harry Potter/Golden Compass. And certainly talking to the great British public, I'd probably design one with the faces of Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell and be done with it.

It was a fun day. I expect there will be a lot more stuff happening in the days to come…
