Embrace the Beast Wars with Transformers Takara Tomy Destron Rhinox

Takara Tomy has opened pre-orders for a new Transformers Masterpiece MPG-26 Destron Rhinox figure, available on Hasbro Pulse and due April 2027.

The legacy of Transformers: Beast Wars continues as Takara Tomy has opened pre-orders for a brand-new Transformers release. It looks like Rhinox is back and ready for action with an impressive new figure that brings his legendary Maximal design to life, but with a twist. Rhinox is an iconic member of Optimus Primal's crew and transforms into an impressive rhinoceros. He is the team's scientist, engineer, and technical expert, and is a must-have Maximal for any Beast Wars collection. However, Takara Tomy has now released an updated version with a new deco inspired by the "Dark Designs" episode, in which Rhinox is corrupted.

Now this Rhinox has become an evil Decepticon, and Takara Tomy has now brought him to life with a brand-new MPG-26 Transformers release that stands a mighty 8.2 inches tall. Rhinox is packed with some fun accessories, including two Gatling hammers, a soft-goods face mask, a beast mask, and a sword. Takara Tomy has also added a fun callback to the original Beast Wars toy, as the Gatling hammers can be stored inside his body while he is in beast mode. As this is an imported figure, Rhinox will come in original packaging with Japanese-language instructions and a character card. Pre-orders are already live and timed on Hasbro Pulse for $224.99, and he is set to release in April 2027.
