Masters Of The Universe Origins Figure Photos Debut Online

Masters of the Universe fans and collectors are eager for any news about the new line of Origins figures coming to stores this fall. Little has been revealed by Mattel at this point, besides that there will be a plethora of figures available, and that they will be coming in classic retro packaging, and they are the classic Masters of the Universe figures with updated articulation. New pictures were posted by Australian site Lulu Berlu where preorders are live. These listings provide some of the first photos of the box art, along with confirmation on some of the figures we will be getting. Check out the Masters of the Universe Origins figures below.

First up we have Teela and Evil-Lyn, which should stand much easier than their vintage counterparts thanks to the updated articulation points. I have always loved the Evil-Lyn figure, the colors are so great and make her stand out so much.

Battle Cat is one of the more impressive figures coming to the line. Just like the vintage figure, the saddle and mask are removable, but even he comes with updated articulation. But that box….oh my that box. So much awesome there. A perfect update to the classic Masters of the Universe box art, I cannot wait to turn the corner in the store and see these hanging from the pegs.

Some of the other figures coming include Man-E-Faces, Orko, Scareglow, Man-At-Arms, Beast Man, and of course He-Man and Skeletor. We already have a sense of what these figures will entail thanks to last summers SDCC exclusive two pack with He-Man and Prince Adam. The poses we will be able to get these guys into will be pretty incredible when compared to what came in the past.

Finally, vehicles will be part of the Masters of the Universe line as well, also in perfect classic packaging. The first release will be the Sky Sled, which will include a base and Prince Adam. Again, it looks like a perfect update to the classic vintage playset. This line cannot come soon enough. Preorders for the US should go up anytime now, probably timed for when SDCC would have been in July.
