My Hero Academia Full Wave of Upcoming Pops Revealed by Funko

My Hero Academia Funko Pops are back as Funko has given us a full glam of the release. This is a big surprise to see as this was rumored to be one of the postponed series due to the pandemic. With My Hero Academia being one of the biggest Anime Pop lines out there this would hit fans hard as we have no idea when these would drop. Well, it looks like things are back in action as we not only get a fully updated look from there Toy Fair debut but one character has a whole new redesign. First up is the biggest one of the wave (literally) with a 10" All Might. He is in a new pose and a worthy addition to the 10" line. As for returning characters, Endeavor, Himiko Toga, Izuku Midoriya, and Red Riot are back but with new designs. Himiko will be masked this time, unlike her first AAA Anime Exclusive Pop. Endeavor is back but with a new fiery dynamic pose, unlike his first GameStop exclusive Pop. Red Riot will be getting a new Metallica Exclusive Variant through BoxLunch which a lot of the My Hero characters are getting lately. Izuku Midoriya returns (of course) but he will be in his school uniform with his journal in hand. There was a My Hero Academia Pop Town in the works with another uniformed Izuku but it seems to be missing from this announcement. Could that be the one Pop that was canned or will see it later on?

There are three new My Hero Academia characters in this wave with Overhaul, Kurogiri, and Mina Ashido. Overhaul had a very big role to play in the newest season of My Hero and this Pop of his just looks great! Kurogiri will also be getting a Pop debut and is very well done with the dynamic hands and the translucent portal appearance. Enough of the villains though, Mina Ashido is also getting a debut but has seemingly changed from her Toy Fair reveal. She has gone from her school training outfit to her hero costume becoming Pinky. This could mean we will see another version of her later on but this with this also be ing a GameStop exclusive it is most likely she has been kicked (for now). Pop Pens and Pocket Pops will also be getting some new addition with the Pockets getting AAA Anime Exclusive tags. You can find all the common My Hero Academia Funko Pops up for pre-order already and located here. How many will you be getting this wave?
