Funko San Diego Comic Con 2020: Our Favorite Revealed Pops

The SDCC 2020 Funko reveals were pretty great this year. I am already counting 9 Pops that I will be hunting for this year. With so many reveals, a couple did pop out more than the rest. We have narrowed it down to 6 Pops that will be a must have this San Diego Comic Con. Up first is the Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, this was an unexpected release, and its an entire wave. Funko has never released an entire wave of Pop as a convention exclusive and it makes it quite enticing because of it. Next, up is the very well design Iron Bob figure from Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. We did get to see Kevin Smith unbox this Funko Pop too which fans can see here. Stan Lee got an appearance this SDCC and it shows off his first MCU Cameo in Iron Man. Marvel fans will want to add the godfather of comics to their growing MCU Funko or Iron Man Pop collections. Staying in the world of Marvel, we got one of the strangest collectibles from the fan hated film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Wade Wilson returns as the terrible Weapon XI with this reveal. This odd depiction of Deadpool makes fans squirm but its legacy is a must have for fans. Our last Pop to hit our favorites list is the TMNT Mikey and his San Diego Comic Con surfboard. This figure is a great symbol of the fun that is SDCC and he is wearing pizza shorts! This Funko Pop symbolizes all that SDCC is from the logo, the iconic character, and the exclusivity.

As of right now the SDCC 2020 Funko Pops is set to release on FunkoShop July 22nd and then hit retailers July 23rd. All convention exclusives Pops are priced at $15 and most have been given retailer locations. All of the Anchorman Pops and Surfer TMNT Mikey will be released at the FunkoShop. I would expect the Anchorman set will be bundled together instead of individual releases. Walgreens will be getting the Wade Wilson from X-Men Origins and going off years past he will have an online drop. Iron Bob will be hitting FYE and Iron Man Cameo Stan Lee goes to Target and will drop the week off or on the 23rd. The biggest mystery is the Black Lightning who is limited to 3000 pieces as it's listed as a Con Only release. However, there is no con so I would expect another FunkoShop drop. Which were your favorite Pops from SDCC 2020? How many will you be getting?
