Upcoming Spider-Man Figures That'll Tingle Your Spidey Sense

The hit PlayStation 4 game, Marvel's Spider-Man is still in full swing. Buzz still continues as Insomniac recently announced Spider-Man Miles Morales for the PS5 to fill our time before we get a sequel. Until then, there are a couple of Hot Toys Spideys that fans might want to get before its too late. We recently talked about some Marvel's Spider-Man Hot Toys figures that fans can own right now which you can find here. This time we are looking at three upcoming figures that web-slinging fans will have to wait on but can pre-order. The wide variety of swappable costumes in the game has let the player customize their Spider-Man gameplay and Hot Toys does the same. The Iron Spider, Spider Armor MK-IV, and Spider-Man 2099 costumes are all coming to life with some gorgeous figures. Each one is packed with remarkable detail and comes with a wide variety of accessories. One thing fans might not like is that they rely heavily on the Marvel's Spider-Man game, not their comic book counterpart. This does mean that not everything is as accurate on the figures that fans are used to like Iron Spider's 3 metal limbs instead of 4, or the missing web-cape of Spidey 2099. While these might have some flaws, it does bring some iconic Spider-Man suits to life that can enhance any Spider-Man collection.

The Iron Spider Armor figure is packed with detail that stays quite true to the comic design. The red and gold metallic colors pop, the gold spider symbol shines and is has the spider looking as slick as ever. He will have three attachable "pincers" that makes him fight more spider than a man. A wide variety of interchangeable hands and web effects are included to fit any occasion too. Next, up is the Spider Armor MK-IV best known from Marvel Comics Brand New Day. This figure is very well done and features a luminous effect web pattern that can be revealed by his display base. From interchangeable eyes, hands, and web effects this spider is ready to hit NYC in style. Spider-Man 2099 comes in last but not least with his beautifully sculpted black suit costume. From his metallic stylish suit, handpieces, and web effects this figure will fly off shelves. Some elements from the comics are missing but it is a worthy figure for any fan.

The Spider-Man Iron Spider Armor (Civil War) Hot Toys figure is priced at $250. Pre-orders for him are still live, located here, and you can expect him to release this year between July and October 2020. The Spider-Man Spider Armor MK-IV Suit (Brand New Day) Hot Toys figure is priced at $255. He is expected to come out between April – June 2021 and pre-orders are live and available here. The Spider-Man 2099 Hot Toys figure is a little more trickier than the rest as it still has yet to release. This SDCC 2020 exclusive is set to come out between July 20th – 26th and a price still has yet to be revealed. This figure could be a straight-up buy or a pre-order. 2099 will be set to release during the Sideshow Con 2020 which fans and collectors can sign up registration on all updates for it here.
