X-Men Pyro Brings the Heat in New Iron Studios Statue

Iron Studios continues to bring forth the X-Men with there statue series. This time we are getting a quite uncommon mutant as Pyro brings the heat. Introduced in Uncanny X-Men #141, Pyro was a member of the Brotherhood of Evil. He does not have the power to generate his own fire but he can control the substance itself. This allows for the use of his suit to provide the fire he needs to use his power. Iron Studios brings Pyro and his classic costume to life in their newest Marvel Comics Statue. This will be a part of the massive X-Men vs Sentinel Battle a Diorama series and shows off Pyro with flame effect. The detail and sculpt are quite remarkable and they narrowed down every detail. This isn't the most famous mutant out there but this will be a great collectible for dedicated Pyro fans.

I appreciate the use of some of the more uncommon X-Men characters. This expands the roster and gives collectors a chance to finally own their favorite mutant hero. While the massive X-Men vs Sentinel Battle Diorama Statue will put you back $1600 this will not. The Pyro BDS Art Scale 1/10 Marvel Comics Statue from Iron Studios is priced at $149.99. The statue is set to come out in December 2020 and pre-orders are already live and located here. Don't forget to check out some of the other recently announced X-Men statues like Colossus, Archangel, and Psylocke.

"In a scene of devastation and fire, he is one of the few characters who feels comfortable. Iron Studios presents one more figure part of its grand X-Men vs. Diorama. the Sentinel robots under Magneto's control, "Pyro BDS Art Scale 1/10 – Marvel Comics" features the Australian fire-manipulating mutant, antagonist of the X-Men and a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, firing flames from his fists and ready to take on his control. St. John Allerdyce, better known as Pyro, has the power to control the fire psionically, it can increase, decrease the heat, intensity and size, and even shape the fire in the form of animated semi-solid constructs. He can manipulate fire, but not create it, so he uses a flamethrower on his back to deliver the precise flames fired from his fists. Although raised as a villain by the masterful duo John Byrne and Chris Claremont, who revitalized the X-Men in the 1980s, Pyro has already become an agent of the U.S. government in exchange for total forgiveness, a member of the team known as the Freedom Force."
