A Place In Space is a long running comic store in Croydon, London, the centre for a number of fires and riots the last few nights, with Church Street on which it stands currently closed.

However Twitter people are worried, stating;

Helen O'Hara – "just spoken to Mook – they're ok as well. The feckers have burnt down a comic shop in croydon. I have unhappy geek friends."

Antonio Spinozzi – "the burning family business in Croydon was down the road from the comic shop I spent my teens in :("

Chantelle Martin – "Clint was getting upset that he could do nothing about the fire in Croydon near the comic shop!"
