Did Charles Soule Put a Dark Nights: Metal Reference into Astonishing X-Men #8?
Today sees the publication of the second issue Batman & The Signal, the delayed spinoff series from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's best-selling Metal event series. It is the only official Dark Nights: Metal tie-in out this week, if you don't count Damage #2 and you probably shouldn't.
With Duke trying to bring the lessons of Metal to the streets of Gotham.
Good luck with that as Gotham fights back and takes it to the streets. But is The Signal co-written by Scott Snyder, the only comic book actively wanting to tie in with the Metal event?
Well, once upon a time, Charles Soule worked with Scott Snyder, taking over from him on Swamp Thing and more, before leaving for Marvel Comics.
And clearly he has been missing the chance to work with his old friend. And so in today's Astonishing -Men he gets that chance…
