Chip Zdarsky Sells His Ultra-Rare Star Wars: Vader Down Comic To Help Bring A Syrian Family To Canada

tumblr_nysej6ZtzW1qaotjto1_1280We've looked at this certain Star Wars: Vader Down #1 variant before. Parodying the 1:5000 Jim Lee original art sketch variant of Dark Knight III #1 (which he is still drawing), this Chip Zdarsky-drawn cover featuring Darth Vader facing the much derided seventies Star Wars comics character Jaxxon.

There are estimated to have been twelve made. One sold on eBay for $3999.

Well, Chip is selling his one comp copy, signed, and being graded by CGC, to raise money to help a Syrian refugee family of seven relocate to Canada.

Currently at $1500…. may the force be with them.
