Details on Jimmy Olsen, Doom Patrol Event Leviathan #2 Returnability

Bleeding Cool reported previously that DC Comics would be making Doom Patrol: The Weight Of The World #1 and Jimmy Olsen, Superman's Friend #1 returnable – and that DC intended to do the same for Event Leviathan #2 as they had for #1. We now have the details for both.

Jimmy Olson, Superman's Friend #1 will be returnable to all stores who order as many copies as they did of Action Comics #1006. And DC Comics intend to make #2 returnable in a similar fashion. That's probably about right, more copies than a conservative regtaielr may order, but possibly around the amount that might actually sell, given a chance.

Doom Patrol: The Weight Of The World #1 is tagged as returnable if retailers match their orders on Young Justice #1. Which might help stem the gap between usual orders on Doom Patrol and those that may have been influenced by the TV series.

Event Leviathan #2 will be returnable to all stores who order 85% as many copies as they did of Batman: Damned #2. Which is probably higher than any retailer would normally order it. And probably, looking at demand for Event Leviathan #1, a little over the top. DC Comics can probably expect returns on this one. Still, a retailer shouldn't care and maybe they'll sell a few more copies as a result, and of subsequent non-returnable issues too.
