Hey, Fox News, Green Lantern Just Arrested God, Then Punched Him in The Mouth

The coverage of the Second Coming book from DC Comics that features Jesus coming back to Earth and rooming with a Superman analogue continues to roll through the media, picking up on an interview Mark Russell gave to Bleeding Cool back in August. After running round Christian news websites, then going to Fox News and Breitbart, it got me wondering–what other stories might such outraged media be missing out on?

What about The Green Lantern #3 by Grant Morrison, Liam Sharp and Steve Oliff which actually came out this week?

Which has Hal Jordan, The Green Lantern first arresting God…

…then punching him in the face.

Now technically, it might not be The God, but rather The Shepherd choosing to appear in this way. But the optics and language are pretty bang on. I mean, surely the Daily Mail could run something on this?

Just a thought…
