Harley Quinn And Poison Ivy In Today's Comics [SPOILERS]

At New York Comic Con kicks off tomorrow, you can be guaranteed that two of the favourite cosplay costumes of choice out there will be Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Harley Quinn has her own series, but Poison Ivy doesn't. That feels like money left on the table to me, but there you go.

Today, we get two comics that explore their relationship, Harley Quinn #29 by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Mirka Andolfo, Michael Kaluta, Tom Derenick, and Alex Sinclair — and Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica #1 by Paul Dini, Marc Andreyko, Laura Braga, Yony Avina, and Arif Prianto. And a pop-up appearance in Green Arrow #32 by Benjamin Percy, Josh Williamson, and Juan Ferreyra.

Spoilers for both.

Harley Quinn gives us a Poison Ivy who discovers her non-monogamous girlfriend as DC Comics describe their relationship, in bed with Mason, and is as supportive as supportive gets.

Though she does take the opportunity when it arises, to deliver a cure for what ails her…

… the only way she knows how.

Can Mason do that? I don't think so. And it has to beat her other options in Green Arrow going through a Metal crossover…

But over in Harley & Ivy Meets Betty & Veronica,  Harley seems a little more possessive of Ivy than Ivy is of Harley.

And if anyone doubts the preponderance of that Harley and Ivy cosplay at New York Comic Con, they've started early in Riverdale…
