There has been plenty of commentary showing how licensing and merchandising for Guardians Of The Galaxy has managed to remove Gamora and Nebula in order to try and appeal more to boys – and as a result, less to girls.

There's been plenty of similar observations regarding Wonder Woman, the only female member of the Justice League Of America.
