How Long Will X-Men Gold And Blue Remain Twice-Monthly?

xmenblue_teaser-720x1106Marvel launched X-Men Gold and X-Men Blue as a pair of twice-monthly ongoing X-Men central team comic books, alongside the monthly Astonishing X-Men. So that's five core X-Men team books a month.

But for how long?

The indicia in X-Men Gold declares it as monthly. Which feels just like the usual indicia being duplicated rather that a denial that the book is twice-monthly.

The indicia for X-Men Blue is… weirder.

"Published monthly except in April, May, June, July, August and September". Will the comics go monthly in October?

In 2017, the new RessurXion lineup for X-Men was launched with X-Men: Prime. It introduced new titles; X-Men Blue, X-Men Gold, Weapon X, new volumes of Astonishing X-Men and Generation X and new solo series for Cable, Jean Grey and Iceman. With the Terrigen gone, the X-Men returned to their roots as heroes in a world that hates and fears them with Kitty Pryde taking on leadership duties, while the time-displaced X-Men work alongside Magneto.
