Introducing Continuity Into Gerard Way's Young Animal Line At DC Comics

At the DC Uncharted panel at Emerald City Comicon, DC editor Jamie Rich talked about the future of the Young Animal imprint, curated by Gerard Way, says they are looking at two more possible mini-series right now. The pattern will be to publish several ongoing series and then a few shorter series on the side.

The challenge is finding things that fit the right tone, he said, and finding things that fit the world view that Gerard Way has, too.

And that the next two things will be interesting takes on old superheroes that have modern day relevance, he said. And also, as the year goes on there will be a more "organic element" to bind the titles together, too, he said.

Continuity?
