Not To Be Outdone, DC Launches Justice League Digital Comic With Mercedes-Benz

Earlier today, we told you about Marvel's partnership with Lexus, with the former producing a new Black Panther graphic novel for Lexus through their Marvel Custom Solutions imprint, and apparently hooking Lexus up with supplies of the fictional metal vibranium to use in their cars. Not to be outdone by their competition, DC has also partnered with an automaker, Mercedes-Benz, to produce a new six-issue digital comic showing Justice League members saving the day with the help of Mercedes cars. The comic is part of a wider partnership with Mercedes to promote Justice League.

Not To Be Outdone, DC Launches Justice League Digital Comic With Mercedes-Benz

"We are glad to launch the first of six exclusive digital comic stories on our global Instagram channel today, said Dr. Jens Thiemer, Vice-President Marketing Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars in a press release. "This innovative approach reflects our urge to always offer exclusive and unique content to our worldwide social media fan base. Stay tuned, there are more great campaign assets to come before the release of Justice League on November 17, with many more insights of this remarkable global partnership."

DC's counterpart to Marvel Custom Solutions, DC Custom Creative Studio, is producing the comic. The first issue, focusing on The Flash and Cyborg, is available to read now on Mercedes' Instagram. Future stories starring Wonder Woman, Batman, and Aquaman will be released in the coming weeks. The comic is written by Adam Schlagman with art based on the Justice League movie by Jason Badower. Justice League hits theaters on November 17.
