Posterior Shocker: Tom King Says Adam Strange Has a Better Ass Than Captain America

Superstar comic book writer and former CIA superspy Tom King is no stranger to controversy, but King took things to a provocative new level when he took to Twitter Wednesday to make an incredible claim about a subject near and dear to the hearts of comic book fans. Captain America is well-known for his great ass, as clearly stated in canon in the Avengers films when referred to as "America's Ass." However, King claims that another hero has a better ass than Captain America's: Adam Strange, the star of King's upcoming DC Comics series with Mitch Gerads and Evan "Doc" Shaner.

King posted artwork by Gerads and said, "I'll see your America's ass and raise you the Tush of Two Worlds." King followed that up with a plug for Strange Adventures, hitting stores in March, and a rocket ship emoji, the science fiction equivalent of an eggplant emoji, symbolizing a dick.

King's assertion (no pun intended) is sure to spark fervent discussion amongst comic book fans and ass aficionados alike. Of course, it can hardly be considered a true competition when one of the most famously great asses in comics is excluded, as Nightwing's ass in nowhere in sight.

What do you think, dear readers? Can Adam Strange's ass compare to Captain America's? Do either of them hold a candle to Nightwing's? Let us know in the comments.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.

About News with Benefits

Why let facts get in the way of a good story? News with Benefits is just like the actual news, but more interesting because it's embellished. Yes, it may feature made-up quotes, wrong assertions, and completely baseless speculation, but in a way, isn't that more honest than the shameless buttkissing and corporate shillery you often find in the "real" news? Don't answer that.

News with Benefits was pioneered at toilet-themed comic book news and opinion website, which is sadly now defunct, but its stench lives on thanks to the support of your clicks and outraged comments.
