hopkins Just three little bits and pieces of casting news that you may have missed today.

Anthony Hopkins is set to play the title character in action thriller Kidnapping Freddy Heineken, a self-explanatory film based on true events from 1983. Jim Sturgess, Sam Worthington, Ryan Kwanten, Aussie newcomer Tom Cocquerel and Netherlands actor Mark van Eeuwen round out the cast. [THR]

• Stephen Hawking biopic Theory of Everything starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones has rounded out its cast with Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Harry Lloyd, Maxine Peake and Simon McBurney. The film will revolve around how Redmayne's prodigy physicist and Jones' art student fall in love at Cambridge. [Variety]

Veep co-star Timothy Simons has joined the cast of The Interview. James Franco and Seth Rogen play a (probably bumbling) reporter/producer duo who tasked with assassinating someone very famous. We've dropped plenty of details on this movie if you're interested. [THR]
