Casting Roundup: Channing Tatum, Michael C. Hall, Zoe Saldana, Craig Roberts And More Find New Gigs

craig Just a short one today…

Tuppence Middleton, a young actress to keep an eye on out of Britain, will lead indie thriller Intrusion, playing a newly single woman who moves into a San Francisco dream home only to get stalked by a mysterious group. If this does nothing, she's got Jupiter Ascending, The Imitation Game and other films to fall back on. [The Wrap]

22 Jump Street just got a bit funnier with the addition of Craig Roberts, who broke out in Submarine and stole Sundance comedy The First Time. No word on who he'll play opposite Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum's undercover-cops-in-college, but he'll probably be hilarious. [THR]

• Animated film The Book of Life just got an all-star cast: Channing Tatum, Diego Luna, Christina Applegate, Ice Cube, Kate del Castillo, Ron Perlman, Cheech Marin, Danny Trejo, Hector Elizondo, Ana de la Reguera, Eugenio Derbez, Gabriel Iglesias, Ricardo "El Mandril" Sanchez and… Placido Domingo. Ok, not all of them are "all-star" but really, you get Channing Tatum and Zoe Saldana and only use their voices? Anyway, this one is about a young man traveling to fantastical worlds and is produced by Guillermo del Toro so it should be pretty good. [The Wrap]

• Dexter is going Broadway. After the controversial ending to Showtime's long-running serial killer series, Michael C. Hall has lined up his next project and it's a journey to the Great White Way as he sets to star in The Realistic Joneses alongside Toni Colette, Marisa Tomei and Tracey Letts. It's an existential comedy about two couples who share the same last name and identical houses. So you know, right up Dexter fans' alleys. [Variety]
