DC Comics To Publish X-Files/30 Days Of Night

That's it. A new series, X-Files/30 Days of Night from DC Comics will be announced at C2E2.

Could it be a crossover? Mulder And Scully go to Barrow? DC and IDW together?

X-Files previously had a comic series published by Topps and more recently DC's Wildstorm imprint.

But 30 Days Of Night was created by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith for IDW, a publisher made up of ex-Wildstorm people.

And there has been bad feeling between the publishers. so the question is – has that been patched up and a crossover between the two properties arranged? Or has DC made a land grab and got the rights to 30 Days Of Night from IDW?

Whichever way, crossover or flipbook, I'm betting it will be written by Steve Niles. Maybe with covers by Ben Templesmith.

More as it comes through.

Oh and they also finally scheduled the announced-in-2007 Vertigo book The Green Woman by Peter Straub, Michael Eaton and John Bolton for October.
