DC Comics To Revive Shadow Of The Bat

Shadow_Of_The_Bat_Vol_1_24Batman: Shadow of the Bat was a comic that ran from 1992 to 2000, telling Batman continuity stories alongside Detective Comics and Batman, which specialised in examining the psyche of the various cast members of the Batcomics. It was mostly written by Alan Grant. And it looks like it's coming back.

DC Comics attourney Megan L Martin has registered the title as a trademark for,

Downloadable publications in the nature of books featuring characters from animated, action adventure, comedy and/or drama features, comic books, graphic novels, magazines featuring characters from animated, action adventure, comedy and/or drama features.

Now that might be to keep a trademark going. But if you want to do that, you actually have to use it…

I've also been aware that DC Comics have been considering returning the great Alan Grant to their creator portfolio. This would seem the perfect opportunity.
