Project: Noir City

Tipping point: The main thing that drew me in was the art. Very Ben Templesmith. The great mystery in the book may how you can tiptoe around what the actual plot of the book is. The description spent 64 words saying nothing. The video has a much better description of "A mysterious stranger who inherits a superhero's legacy and does battle with the mob".
So far: $3,510 of $4,500 with 3 days to go
Project: Bellows
Creator: Roberto Cofresi and various artists
Concept: "The book is made of ten fables, each stands on its own but they are also interconnected in various ways. The fables are darkly comic and come from my imagination which has been fertilized by over 30 years of playing, writing and hanging out in the world of music, from dingy dives to front porches to basement parties to fancy concert halls, music festivals, record stores, fledgling record label offices, corporate offices for international music giants, and other places where music people congregate.."
Sweet spot: Pledge $15 or more. "A copy of the first edition of 'Bellows'"
Tipping point: Music Anthology. Check. Diverse Artists. Check. Low cost to contribute and get a copy of the comic. Check.
So far: $4,900 of $6,500 with 4 days to go

While the 20-story goliath continues its rampage, questions are asked around the activation and the ostracized staff of Special Weapons is tasked to monitor the beast. Meanwhile, something darker and more sinister seems to be at play."

She's also the youngest person in her country to be accepted into a prestigious university, learns trigonometry during her lunch breaks, and may cure some of the world's deadliest diseases. Aria was just sold into slavery in the poorest country in the world: America.."
Sweet spot: Pledge $25or more. "A limited first-run hardcover Kickstarter edition of Home of the Brave + your name in the book thanking you for your support + the SUPPORTER and DIGITALIST rewards."
