Josh Hylton writes for Bleeding Cool:
It's one thing to star in films based on a passingly popular book series about the love triangle between a human, werewolf and vampire. It's a completely different thing to take on a literary role beloved by many for not just generations, but centuries.
But that seems to be the case with Kristen Stewart, as reported by Deadline. Although I'm sure this movie will bear little resemblance to Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I have fond memories of that classic and I don't wish for them to be tainted. Of course, Snow White has been translated to the screen (big and small) countless times, so who am I kidding?
Another contender would be Sucker Punch's Emily Browning, who The Hollywood Reporter tell us gave a screen test for the film last weekend.
If the as-of-this-moment rumor is true, Stewart will most likely be starring in the film, opposite Viggo Mortensen who, it is alleged, has been in talks to appear as a major, as of now unnamed, character in the film.*
*Editor's note: It seems reasonable to assume he'd be playing the huntsman.
