Numbercrunching Marvel July 2011 Solicitations

The Marvel solicitations are out.

No more Point Ones (though there is a Point One trade paperback) and there's a little less doubling up of issues in the wake of Fear itself's expanse. Still, it's an expensive four week month, with the pensulum starting to swing back to the $3.99/22 page price point and bringing the cost per page just shy of the fifteen cent point.

Helping he stats remain lower is the anthology book Fear Itself: The Worthy with a  bunch of creators, as well as more Fear Itself spinoff books like Fear Itself: Wolverine by Seth Peck and Roland Boschiat $2.99. Three issues of Ultimate Fallout all at $3.99, by Brian Michael Bendis, Jonathan Hickman,  Nick Spencer, Mark Bagley, Sara Pichelli and more don;t exactly help though.

And yes, Venom Flashpoint is a collection of recent Venom comics. Naughty  naughty Marvel.

And the cover featured is one played with by Chris Haley when Bleeding Cool posted it last week. He didn't amend Cap's crotch however, that's all natural.
