WARNING: Tomorrow's Neonomicon #2 From Alan Moore And Jacen Burrows

Tomorrow sees the release of Neonomicon #2 from Avatar. Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows' continuing horror crime series based on the works of HP Lovecraft takes a very specific swing in a certain direction with this issue. While accurately solicited for "mature readers", there is a world of difference in terms of content to, say, Hellblazer. Or Wormwood. Or even Crossed.

Basically issue 2 contains a large number of graphic scenes of nudity. Of sex. And of sexual violence.

And I would hate it if a retailer were to find himself in hot water, getting the books out from a Wednesday delivery and rushing them to the shelves without having time to flick through the comic book for content and context.

I mean, this is a very good comic book. But it's probably not worth someone going to jail for.

Neonomicon #2 is for consenting adults. And for those freaky kids who are going to university even though they are only thirteen. They're probably damaged enough as it is.
