Publishers put out solicitations months ahead of publication, so retailers and readers have a good idea of what to order. But sometimes between announcement and publication, things change. An artist is late and has to be switched. A plot in another comic affects this one and things are changed. It sometimes happens a few days after solicitation.

But rarely does the change occur mid-solicitation…
