Tomorrow's Image Expo Delays Image Plus #7 by a Fortnight

Image Plus #7, the Image Comics magazine that features original Walking Dead and now Wytches stories, as well as upcoming solicitations, features and previews of upcoming Image Comics titles, was to have been published tomorrow. One week ahead of the Diamond Previews catalogue.

But tomorrow also sees Image Expo, the annual event for the publisher showing off all their new stuff, on stage in Portland.

And, I guess, they'd rather reveal that on stage than have some spotty oik like me pick up a copy from their local comic shop.

So Image Plus #7 has been delayed two weeks, to come out a week after the Previews catalogue rather than a week before.

Why two weeks rather than one? I'm not sure. Maybe they don't trust Diamond employees not to leak things?

I wonder what they have planned…

Image first started Image Expo in 2013, an all-day event for fans, the retailer community, and the press to experience a showcase of exciting Image Comics announcements. This year's event will be held at the Leftbank Annex in Portland, Image's new home town. Bleeding Cool will be in attendance.
