Ed Piskor's Love Letter to the X-Men, Grand Design 1 and 2, Get Second Prints on Valentine's Day

X-Men: Grand Design by Ed Piskor is an attempt by the creator of the Hip-Hop Family Tree to retell the continuity of the X-Men as of it was all planned for, and an ending in mind. Of course, with foreshadowing, forethought, and a quirkier art style than the X-Men may have been used for.

It's gone and done rather well — so much so that the two-issues-a-year schedule may need to be brought forward a little.

But both issues have sold out at distributor level, and the collection of the first two issues won't be out until April, and because it's oversized, will cost three times as much.

But not to worry! Not to fret! On Valentine's Day, Marvel Comics will have second prints of both volumes available.
