Last Night Games has released four new tablet games this month, all of which have been selected as back-to-school titles in different ways. The idea of these four titles is to get you back into the groove of having a routine and getting your brain working in a more strategic way. Even if it isn't for school, but to help heading into the Fall. The four include Panda Royale, Double Match, Five Card Spud, and Life of a Chameleon. Panda Royale
Panda Royale is an energetic dice drafting game for 2-10 players. With over 100 gorgeous dice in the box. During 10 rounds, you will add new dice to your team to compete for the highest score. Each color of dice has special abilities, so you must choose wisely. Each year, as the mid-summer festival begins, the seven panda clans gather to celebrate their many years of peace and prosperity. After all the feasts, stories, and games, the Elders host the annual competition wherein the bravest of all pandas gather together to battle for honor and glory. The panda clans each have their own powers and abilities, and the Elders consider those strengths carefully as they assemble their teams from members of each of them.
Double Match
In Double Match, you'll take turns trying to get rid of all your cards. You play your cards onto a 3×3 grid by creating a match of 3 in a row. You can match by color or number, or create a numerical sequence. It's an easy-to-learn game that only takes 15 minutes to play, but when it's your turn, you'll realize how much you need your brain!
Five Card Spud
Play five-card sets to score points in this potato-themed rummy-style game. Strategically discard smaller sets to change up your cards. You may save cards for future hands but beware, they will be visible to all players. You'll be surprised by how much thought goes into each turn in Five Card Spud.
Life of a Chameleon
A chameleon's life isn't easy–constantly adapting to new environments and hiding from predators like snakes! It takes a lot of patience to sneak around and hunt bugs for food. No one truly appreciates the chameleon's plight! You are a chameleon just trying to make your way in this world, eating one bug at a time. Eat specific colors of bugs in the right order to win. Snatch tasty insects right out from under your opponents as you navigate the board, fraught with dangerous snakes and other competitive chameleons.
