SNK Announces Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection

During a panel at PAX East this weekend, SNK announced a new series anthology for Samurai Shodown, which will hit all modern game consoles this fall.

Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection will include:

  • Samurai Shodown I
  • Samurai Shodown II
  • Samurai Shodown III
  • Samurai Shodown IV
  • Samurai Shodown V
  • Samurai Shodown RPG
  • Samurai Shodown Sen
  • Two NeoGeo games

The project is being developed in collaboration with Digital Eclipse who worked on the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and SNK 40th Anniversary Collection.

The collection is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this fall.

SNK also has Samurai Shodown 2019 slated to release this year, which will reboot the series. The 2019 game will be the first game in the main Samurai Shodown series since Samurai Shodown Sen in 2008.
