Watch This Hacker Make The "'Nintendo PlayStation" Work Again!

ninps

The Ben Heck Show is one of the best resources we have for seeing what's inside all the gaming equipment we get to play with. I enjoyed watching him pull apart a Nintendo Switch back in March, and now we get to see him fix a truly unique piece of gaming history. The remarkable find of a Nintendo PlayStaion prototype a few months ago showed us plans of what could have been if Nintendo and Sony had their respective acts together and were able to work side-by-side. (I'm actually in favor of history not happening that way because I enjoyed the PlayStation, but I digress.) The episode you're about to watch below shows Ben replacing a few parts and making a few slight adjustments to get the board working again. Now it's just a matter of time before we see someone like Hyperkin make their own version for weird collectors. Enjoy the video!
