Dreamworks Talks To Margot Robbie About Ghost In The Shell

MargotRobbieDreamworks live action adaptation of Ghost In The Shell may have found it's lead. According to the Wrap, the studio is talking to Margot Robbie (Wolf of Wall Street) to take the lead role in he project being directed by Rupert Sanders from a script by Bill Wheeler and produced by Avi Arad and Steven Paul.

Based on the Japanese manga created by Masamune Shirow, the story follows the exploits of a member of a covert ops unit of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission that specializes in fighting technology-related crime.

Robbie will next be seen in Focus opposite of Will Smith and is currently filming Tarzan with Alexander Skarsgard.
