First, according to Deadline, Eiza Gonzalez has joined the cast. Gonzalez jumped onto the mainstream after her role on Baby Driver after many years of impressing horror fans over on the television adaptation of From Dusk Till Dawn. Gonzalez has also nabbed roles in the forever delayed Alita: Battle Angel and the upcoming Bloodshot. Her character is currently unknown.

Next, according to Variety, we have Rebecca Hall joining the cast. Hall stared in Iron Man 3 and was recently completely overlooked for her absolutely stunning performance in Professor Marston and the Wonder Women in last years awards season. Hall will be seen later this year in the Sherlock Holmes comedy Holmes and Watson. The details of her character are also unknown.

The cast for Godzilla vs. Kong is still a little bit in flux. Along with Skarsgård, Gonzalez, and Hall Julian Dennison, Demián Bichir, and Brian Tyree Henry are also confirmed to star. Names such as Danai Gurira, Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, and Zhang Ziyi, the latter three of which are set to star in Godzilla: King of the Monsters next year, are also being floated around in various capacities. Adam Wingard is set to direct the production which currently has a May 22, 2020.

It very much seems like Legendary is plowing ahead with this movie regardless of how Godzilla: King of the Monsters should go over next March. If we ever want to see anymore entries in this series the box office of these next two entries is very much going to determine the future of this kaiju cinematic universe.
